Ari

Ari (Augmented Reality Intelligence) is a new AI assistant optimised for AR devices made by Almer.

Through this assistant we aim to improve the user experience of AR devices by providing a set of tools to help the user in their daily tasks, no matter the specific use-case they are facing.

What can it do?​

Ari is able to search the internet in response to user questions and provide a context-appropriate answer.

Example: "Hey Ari! Can you look up today's weather?"

Change / View device settings​

Ari is able to adjust certain* device settings in response to user requests!

(*) - Brightness; Audio Volume; Flashlight; Battery Status;

Example: "Hey Ari! It's a bit dark in here, could you turn on the flashlight?"

Take and analyze pictures​

Ari is able to take a picture, analyze and describe it.

Example: "Hey Ari! Take a photo of this machine and tell me more about what could cause it to malfunction."

Initiating Calls (Right now only available for demos)​

Ari is able to initiate calls via MS Teams.

Example: "Hey Ari! Call John Doe!"

Training on custom data​

As any assistant, Ari can provide better answers if it is aware of the company's specific knowledge base. This knowledge base often takes varying shapes from one company to the next, from a OneDrive folder to Atlassian.

Due to these differences, any such integration needs to be assessed on a case by case basis, the main talking point being the form in which the user is willing to provide the data to Ari.
